Class registration Next Monday!

Lately there have been some pains being able to register for classes. This is greatly disturbing our customers, and as the only way to fix it would be to have servers like Amazon, and let’s face it, we aren’t Amazon, and can’t afford those servers!

Starting this session PUPPY, PUPPY GRAD, BEGINNER OBEDIENCE, and ADVANCED BEGINNER OBEDIENCE will open on Monday.

ALL OTHER OBEDIENCE CLASSES WILL OPEN ON TUESDAY!

As always, Agility registrations are done by mail, and that form is currently on the website and available to print out and mail in.

Please! Let any of your friends who don’t bother to read our emails or who aren’t members know! The fewer people we have hitting refresh trying to get in to a Barn Hunt or Rally class on Monday morning the easier it will be for our new customers!

Eastway Boys Christmas!

Happy Holidays!!It’s that time year again Gem City Dog Club will be providing a little Christmas cheer for the Eastway Boys Group Home next to Gem City’s Dog Club Building on Northcutt. Each year we provide about 25 Games & Puzzles, so each boy has a gift to open. We also try to provide 1 or 2 large gifts that all the boys can enjoy throughout the year. We will be accepting donations made out to Gem City Dog Obedience Club. Last year we were able to purchase a Tablet & Xbox Gaming System with 2 Controllers and a gift card to purchase additional games. Below are Pictures of the tablet, xbox and some of the puzzles and games that were delivered to the boys for Christmas.

Volunteers Needed – CGC Helpers, Double Hours Nov 2024!

It is that time again for CGC Evalulators and CGC Helpers to sign up to help the Advanced Beginner class with their CGC testing.  Please check the Volunteer Opportunities page to sign up.  You will earn double volunteer hours and this is an easy way to get them. Earth Dog Oct 26-27th – Volunteers Needed!

Attention Gem City Members
GCDOC Earthdog is looking for a couple volunteers to be onsite during the trials. The trials usually start around 8 and end by 4 on Saturday and Sunday. If you can only be there a few hours that is fine. Hopefully we can get enough volunteers to hold the trial. If anyone is available to help please email louie.and.ruth@gmail.com and let me know what day/s time/s works good for you.

Volunteer Hours and Dues now in your profile!

The website has now been updated with the total hours and dues for this year.

Once you are logged in to the website, please click on the button that says “Profile/Password change” on the members page, or select it from the menu drop down. Your volunteer hours and what you owe will all be available from your profile page. Once you know what you owe, you can pay your dues from that members page by clicking the appropriate button just below your totals.

**Please note, if you are a member who owes nothing, you STILL need to sign your waiver form. That button is also available in your profile area.

Dues need to be paid no later than October 31st.
