Rainy was a wonderful gift. She willingly participated in everything that I wanted to do at Gem City. She showed in several agility venues, obedience and Rally obedience. But most of all she loved to go for walks, play kick ball and be with me. I will forever miss that beautiful Sheltie face.

Turf Room Ready!
Sherri and I wanted to let everyone know that the turf room has a course set up for training. The map is on the table and course is numbered. It’s a JWW course from USDAA Cynosport and has many challenges. I also added the table, AF, and Teeter. The new AKC table heights are with the table. 24” will now be 20” and we have the 12” legs to use.
We will leave this up for the next 2 weeks before classes start.

When I brought Jett home at 10 weeks, he was a potential agility and conformation dog. He duly informed me that he was not a “foo-foo” dog, that he was a “doin’ dog” and he certainly was. When Dad was still alive, Jett was his “putzin’ dog happily following Dad around the house and yard, at least until I came home from work. Dad would laugh and say, I know exactly when you pulled in the driveway because I lost “my” dog.
Jett would run agility with children when the family dog said “nah”, Jett would say to the child, “I will go with you!” and he happily did. He helped 4-H kids gain confidence in themselves while learning to navigate an agility course. Sometimes, he would just kiss their tears away and sit or lay next to them.
He earned awards at several CPE Agility Nationals:
2008 Michigan – Level 2 Reserve High in Standard Regular 8″
2013 Ohio – 2nd High in Games Enthusiast 8″
