Looking for Hours?

Some of you have been wondering where to quickly find Volunteer hours. Did you know the website has a consolidated place for those to be published AND you can sign up right online? Our website will send you a reminder email for what you’ve signed up for, and the volunteer coordinators for the event will automatically have your email and phone number, so they can quickly get in touch with you if something about the event should change! It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s less cluttered than a bulletin board in the building!

*Volunteer coordinators please contact the web admin to have your event published in this location!!

NOC/RNC Match

Good morning all!

We are looking for volunteers to help with the match coming up at the end of the month.

Dates are:

Setup – Wednesday, June 27 starting at 7pm.

Match – Thursday, June 28 5-9pm.

On Wednesday, it would be great to have some people to set up two nested nested courses. I have maps to follow. General set up will be needed as well.

On Thursday, we need people to keep the rings going.

Should be fun to watch the top rally and obedience teams warm up before National! If you can’t sign up on the website, please contact Angela Profitt at akp511@aol.com to volunteer!

Correction to CGC email

Wednesday’s test is on June 6.

Hi Everyone!

We are looking for some volunteers to help with the CGC testing on Tuesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 2! It’s very easy work and you don’t need any experience. Regular or Applicant members are welcome! Please remember that the students taking the test are potential future members of our club and need our support too!  If we have a CGC evaluator willing to test Wednesday that would be great too!

Please contact Angela Profitt at akp511@aol.com or on Facebook

Thank you!

Meeting Minutes

The most recent Membership Meeting minutes are now posted on the website members only area for your reading pleasure. Please note, these minutes have not yet been approved by the membership, but are instead in “Edit” status. If you missed the last meeting, you can catch up now!

Attention!!

This is a bit earlier than normal, but you need to start thinking about Board elections now!!. We are going to need an Obedience Director for 2019. Angela has said she would be willing to act as an assistant to the new director and help with answering website email, the CGC Test and even chairing some events. She would be an invaluable help to someone who is willing to take the lead. Please, you have the summer to consider this, so start now.

Also, will need a new President. This is not a difficult job. You’ll have the entire Board to help guide you for this position, and they are willing to share their knowledge with you.

Remember, this is your club and you need to participate. We have a group of people that seem to do most of the work. What the club would do without them is scary to think about. So, please volunteer.

Thank you,
Terri Jerkes
