Our Beginner Obedience classes are RAPIDLY filling! We need your HELP!!

If you are a member and interested in teaching or assisting a class, please contact me.

For lead instructor, we would like a CD or equivalent or experience with teaching or assisting.

For assistant, working towards titles in obedience would be nice but not required.

I can always use more subs as well.

Current lead instructor spot is for Beginner Tuesday night at 8.

We do require a positive approach to training.

Due to conflicts with rescheduled classes due to weather, the Membership Meeting that was schedule the end of February has been moved to March 1 at 7:30pm.

I am looking for volunteers to help with the upcoming UKC Obedience Trial on March 3 and 4. Please email me at akp511@aol.com. Great way to learn about obedience and watch some impressive teams!

Just a general reminder then, that if you have received a title this year, and have not emailed a picture to booklvr45@gmail.com,  to email the picture before January 31 for  it to be included in  the slide show.

Otherwise it will be a slide with just the handler and dog’s name and title.

Be sure to include dog title in the subject line.

Our Awards Banquet is quickly approaching on next Saturday, February 3!

Guests are welcome (and encouraged) to dress for this year’s theme – Doggywood (aka Hollywood).  Come dressed for a night out on the town or even as your favorite movie star!

Hello,
I am looking for someone to be one of the Conformation Judges for the Wednesday evening Conformation Run Thru practice. We currently have eight judges that rotate acting as judge for the dogs that come to practice each week. I post a schedule monthly with the next eight weeks listed so you will see the proposed schedule in advance. If there is a conflict for you then we work to re-arrange as best we can. You will get 2 hours of working credit toward the Gem City membership hours. Time is WED 7:45pm till 8:45pm. You are not expected to teach a class, your role is act as a judge and put the dogs and handlers through the paces they may experience at a show. Yes sure occasionally you may give advice or suggestions but it is not a formal class instruction.
