Updated Database

Some of you may have received an email yesterday stating that your email address had changed in our database.

We WERE NOT HACKED!!!

I DID updated the database yesterday, and now it more closely matches the information from the Membership Directory. Because of this, some of you have a Capitalization in your email address in the directory and NOT in the website database, or vise versa. That tiny little difference caused the email to be triggered that your email address had changed.

Sorry for any confusion.

Membership Dues Letter

To All Members

  • The membership volunteer hours deadline of 9/30/18 has passed. Any hours worked or turned in to me now will be credited to 2019 membership volunteer hours.
  • Membership Dues Invoices will be mailed via USPS to all members with the Dues amount you are responsible for. Applicants will get an dues invoice with the hours they have already worked but they will owe no dues
  • If you get vouchers based on the number of hours you have worked they will be included in your dues letter.
  • If you have not worked the minimum required 10 volunteer hours you will not be able to renew your regular membership. You can send $15 and become an associate member. After you work the missing hours you can apply to me for regular member status and pay the remaining $35 Membership fee.
  • We will not be using PayPal this year due to the low number of members who took advantage of that service.
  • Before I can accept your dues payment you MUST sign the electronic waiver. Each member, Family and Regular and applicant member must sign the waiver. Follow the link to the waiver https://gcdoc.com/waiver-of-liability-form/
  • Dues are due and payable as of 10/31/18. After that date your membership will be consider lapsed. If after 90 days of the 10/31/18 deadline your dues remain unpaid your membership will be terminated.
  • Please remember as of a change to the standing rules, next year you will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per year to renew your membership. Applicants will still only be required to work 10 hours to be considered for membership.

Email Settings

In the effort to have our emails land in “Spam” less often, I have overhauled the email settings on the website to try and send them out through Gmail instead.

Our top banner and the bottom signature should remain the same, and all posts can be verified by going to our website, signing in, and looking in the “news” area in the Members Only page of the website.

No Evening Classes Thursday

Hi All
This is a reminder there will be no classes on  the evening of Thursday Oct. 4 due to our 3 day Agility Trial.
Please put the obedience equipment away. We will be setting up on Thursday afternoon
Thank you for your help and cooperation.

DOT of Agility

**Reminder**

Just a friendly reminder to check the calendar online and possibly at the club before you make plans to use the facilities during “off” time or weekends.  We post as many closures as possible in those places to help reduce confusion. When in doubt, please contact the Obedience or Agility director to make certain the area will be available for your use.

This weekend there is a trial out at the Land location on Saturday, and the area will NOT be open to anyone not participating in the trial.
