We are hosting a two day CAT event, day one at our land, day two at Brookville. We need volunteers to start their spring tan with us!

Coursing Ability Trial at our Land location, Saturday, April 13, 2019.

Fast Coursing Ability Trial, Sunday, April 14, 2019
K9 Splash Zone 9386 National Rd. Brookville, OH

Tasks may include:

• someone to write on the ribbons
• someone to direct people to the blind (we will call 5 people at a time)
• a leash runner or help at catch pen
• people to inspect for lameness.

The Sheltie Club agility show:

Please have the obedience equipment put away for the trials.

We have been contacted again this year with a request for us to staff a table at the Aullwood farm babies fest, but we have a problem…

They have made the Fest 2 days this year May 18th and 19th, and have given us ONLY 1 WEEK to let them know if we want the table!!! Without volunteers signing up in the next few days, we will be forced to regretfully tell them that we can’t staff the table two days in a row.

AULLWOOD’S FARM BABIES FEST VOLUNTEER TABLE

DETAILS:

Sit at a table with your furry friend, greet children and adults, and let your furry friend get lots and lots of pets.

Enjoy a full day of baby animals, farm adventures, great food and old fashioned fun at Aullwood’s Farm Babies Fest at Aullwood Farm, 9101 Frederick Pike, Dayton Ohio. Admission is only $10 per car!

The building will be set up for the CCC rental/UKC trial on Thursday at 9:00 pm. Obedience in the front and Rally in the back. Agility equipment will be put away until mid day Sunday. You are welcome to use the rings on Friday for Obedience/Rally practice. If you do practice, please put things back exactly as they were before you leave.

We will be holding an AKC Agility Trial on February 22, 23rd, and 24th.  Below is the google worker sheet with approximate times.  If you are available that weekend and need to earn some hours or would just like to come out and watch some amazing dogs run Agility, please feel free to sign up in any empty space.  If you are having trouble, please email me (purple.haze@sbcglobal.net) with the information of when and what job you would like to work and I will be happy to get you signed up.

Volunteers Needed!

Make up classes will be held on Wednesday Feb 20th and Thursday morning Feb 21st.

Building will be closed immediately following the Thursday morning classes for the agility trial set up, agility equipment will be removed Wednesday evening after classes, so no practice will be available all day Thursday the 21st.

Our next Membership meeting is

February 27th at 7:30pm at the building

Please B-Y-O-C (bring your own chair)!

Reminder, we LOVE dogs, but dogs who are not in crates can be very distracting at the meeting.
