Members of our club would like to start holding barn hunt trials at our club again, however, in order to do that we need to get re-certified.

Below is a link to brief survey that we need answered in order to fill in the paperwork to get established once again. PLEASE! It’s only 1 question if you have never done Barn Hunt, and only 5 if you HAVE done barn hunt. Each answer will help us!

I cannot wait to see everyone Monday for the Obedience Committee meeting at 7pm. All are welcome to come and discuss how we can move our programs forward and make them better for all involved. Just a quick reminder to please check the website calendar before assuming that any of our locations is open and available to you to practice. Summer is rapidly approaching, and we WILL be having trials and events at the land this summer. In those cases, the land is CLOSED to everyone aside from trial participants and volunteers. Dogs not entered in the trial are not allowed on the grounds.

This includes the first two weekends of May, for the CAT trial and set up, and for the Saturday Rat Romp.

The Rat Romp on May 13, 2023 is looking for volunteers who are not participating in the event. Please sign up on the Volunteer Opportunities page.

If you are participating in the event and have not signed up to volunteer, but want to, please email louie.and.ruth@gmail.com and let me know your availability.

The next GCDOC membership meeting will be on Monday, February 27th at 7 PM.
Please make an effort to attend as we will need a quorum to vote 4 applicant members into full membership.

Class registration is now open to everyone.

The awards night is all set up, there are tables, chairs, and the cleaning crew did an absolutely AMAZING job cleaning the floors. The building is now CLOSED (yes, even the back room) until Sunday morning. For some reason, people are saying they want less than the normal amount of fur in their food!

Also, Monday, they will be picking up the tables and chairs from 12 to 2 so the front area will be of limited use.
