Volunteer @ The Land Nov 25, 2023

All

I am organizing an initial cleanup at the LAND on Saturday. November 25th.

The LAND needs to be closed  from noon to 3:30pm while we haul and pitch stuff.  Barn Hunt is taking off and the place needs a bit of a cleaning up.   I encourage anyone who thinks that they have a vested interest in items at the Land to meet us there on Saturday.  There has  been Stuff stored there for years now and not moved or been used.  We will be starting in the white carport (which is falling apart) on the south side of the Barn Hunt (Faulkner) building, but  anything inside the Lenahan building or outside could be fair game.

We might get to a bunch of wood skids which will need to be cut up.  Some of the old orange snow fencing may also be pitched. I have had discussions with Suzie, Curt, Rachel, Leah and Deb W. as to what they think should be kept. The first four people will be there, but I would certainly encourage anyone else that could use some volunteer hours to join us.

Hey, no bugs and not too hot, what else do you need?  Bring water, gloves and boots.  No dogs.

Sorry for the late notice.

Thanks

John Clifford

Happy Holidays!!

It’s that time year again Gem City Dog Club will be providing a little Christmas cheer for the Eastway Boys Group Home next to Gem City’s Dog Club Building on Northcutt.  Each year we try to provide some Christmas gifts or a large gift that all the boys can enjoy throughout the year.  We will be accepting donations made out to Gem City Dog Obedience Club.  Last year we were able to purchase 2 table top gaming systems and 25 board games and puzzles. Carole Lenehan, Mary Beam & Terri Hendrix will be organizing this endeavor.
