Hi everyone,
Just a warning that when going to the land to run your dogs, be VERY CAREFUL!
I was there Friday evening when sirens went off. The howling from coyotes was everywhere. One of my friends was running her dogs off lead on Friday morning. One came running back to her, looking behind her. My friend looked in the area the dog came from, and saw a huge coyote in the brush. They are prolific at the land.
Please consider NOT letting your dogs run free unless you are in the fenced area. It is not safe.

I have been in contact with the volunteer coordinator for the RNC on July 18-19. Come help and cheer on fellow members! Contact me and I’ll send your information on to the coordinator. Again….free lunch! Possibly a little swag too! They desperately need help to make this a successful event!

Steve is asking for volunteers to help with updating the restrooms. Check our website, the papers taped to the doors or contact Steve directly!

Lauren J Martin, Esq. will do a presentation about Pet Planning on Sunday, June 30 at 5:30. She will cover the range of planning options available, critical terms to include for the protection of your pet and more. A membership meeting will follow at 6:30. First , I would like to thank everyone who has volunteered! I really appreciate you!

We do still need a few more Saturday and Sunday afternoon volunteers. You’ll still have the same great lunch the morning crew has! But you’ll get to sleep in! You don’t need any experience, the judges will teach you everything you need to help them. Come join us!If you happen to be showing a dog that doesn’t need a lot of grooming, it would be great if you could fill when a steward needs a break. We have at least one that has to step away for their breed.

Hey everyone! We need help! There’s only 2 weeks left until this show and we only have 3 volunteers. All hours count towards Gem City required hours for membership. There are no run around jobs. They are great jobs if you can’t get around as well as you used to. I will make sure you get something you can handle. Work half day or full day. You do not need experience. Just think, you could practically get all your hours in on one weekend if you promise to work the whole thing. The judges will tell you exactly what they would like you to do. They are always so patient.

Lunch will be provided. Michelle always makes sure everyone is fed. She does an amazing job! Plus, she makes the best desserts! We will make sure you’re done in time for fireworks and evening celebrations.

Remember, Crossroads Canine Club rents volunteers along with the building. Please sign up to help make this trial a success! Thank you!
