**Correction** LAND CLOSED
The land well be closed Saturday for the one day Coursing Ability Trial. While the dogs are running the gate to the land will be closed to ensure the safety of the attendees.
Sorry for any confusion on the date of the trial. It is on Saturday.

Looking for an assistant
Hi Everyone!
We are looking for someone who would be interested in helping out with teaching Advanced Beginner on Wednesday nights at 7:30. Basic duties are helping individuals and holding/touching dogs so they can prepare for the Canine Good Citizen test. It is required that you are a regular member. There is a short slide show for you to read if you haven’t taught class before. Great way to help potential future members and earn a voucher!

Looking For Some Volunteers!
Hi Everyone!
We are still looking for some volunteers to help with the CGC testing on Wednesday, April 18 at 7:30! It’s very easy work and you don’t need any experience. Regular or Applicant members are welcome! Please remember that the students taking the test are potential future members of our club and need our support too! Also needed for Wednesday is a neutral dog. If we have a CGC evaluator willing to test one evening or both (April 17 or 18) that would be great too!

Events coming up where you can earn some hours, help the club, make new friends:
Coursing Ability Test— Sat, Apr 14 – this is an outside event at The Land, and fun to watch.
WCRL Rally – Sat, Apr 22 – Gem City Building
AKC Agilty Trial, Sat and Sun Apr 28-29 at our building
CPE Agility Trial – Sat and Sun, May 5-6 at our building
Earth Dog Trial – Sat and Sun, May 12-13
Aullwood Farm Babies – Sat, May 12 – An outside event held at Aullwood Farms. Bring yourself and your family-friendly dog to an outdoor community event; introduce your club to new potential members, and your dog gets a lot of petting and attention.
And, this is just the start of volunteer opportunities for this Spring and Summer.
