Volunteer hours – Sat 7/29/23

Do you need VOLUNTEER hours???It’s time to get some general work done at the club that just about anyone can do, so come one, come all…… No, that’s too many, how about 4 or 5 people this coming Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 to do a few jobs around the outside of the building.I know it will be getting hot so we will only be out there for 2 hours.

Water will be available.

These hours count towards your membership volunteer hours so we will need to sign in and out. Bring sunscreen, gloves and hats.

Things like: digging hole to put up a new dog poop station. Yes this requires digging a hole and setting the post in concrete. Tools would be shovels and wheelbarrow(s).collect some of the stones and other debris in the grass and the parking lot, Tools would be some buckets and gloveshelp connect some new extensions to the downspouts to the drain tiles. Cutting and fitting and attaching things so a hack saw, box knife and drill-driver to put in screws.

Looking for Obedience and Rally Stewards for the June 10-11, 2023 AKC Trial! We will train you if you have never done this before. Come and learn from some of the best! Building CLOSED -Friday, Saturday 17-18th

On Friday, 2/17, the front room will be closed for the tables to be delivered and set up for the banquet on Saturday. The banquet committee spends careful time and attention cleaning the front room and decorating, please do not allow your dog to track dirt or fir into the room!

Also, Monday, they will be picking up the tables and chairs from 12 to 2 so the front area will be of limited use.

FitDog Walk POSTPONED

Building CLOSED Friday!

All,

This Friday, January 20th, the entire Northcut building needs to be closed for training from 7:30am to 4:00pm for the preparation to install a secondary furnace for the front room. They will have to shut off the heat to tap into the gas line back in the turf room and run pipe and conduit. This will be followed up by another day TBD to actually install the furnace, which will hang from the roof in the area of the flag that is on the wall.

Building closed Dec 30-31

All,

Last Friday we were supposed to use a sanitizing fog in the building donated by club VP Steve Hart. Given the weather, that did not happen. So we are going to do it this week. The club building will be closed this Friday, Dec 30th and Saturday, Dec 31st (to fog the building and allow it to completely dissipate). It is a food industry operation and leaves no residue. It does not harm the equipment so nothing needs to be moved or cleaned up.
