The annual membership meeting is this Friday, November 5 at 7:30. Due to Covid, there will be no carry in dinner this year. Please come to this meeting to vote in your new board!

We need a quorum to have a vote! If you are healthy enough to come to classes and compete in events, come to the meeting! We need your vote!

Due to the City of Dayton’s mandate, everyone will be required to wear a mask. Only to be removed if you are speaking to the entire group.

REMINDER! 2021 Membership Dues

Reminder!

The Website is ready to accept your Dues Payment. After you log in click on “Members Area” on the home screen then select “profile/password change” from the drop down list under the RED “Members Area” to the right on the screen. 

When your Profile comes up scroll down the page to see your hours worked and amount due.
Under the dues amount you will see a Pay button. Click on that button and it will take you to the pay screen.

  • On the pay screen you can:
  •  1. Pay your dues through PayPal and sign the waiver.
  • 2. Sign the waiver and then send a check to 4921 Pacemont Ave, Dayton, Oh 45415 made payable to GCDOC.
  • 3. If you don’t owe any dues you will still need to check the dues amount of $0.00 and electronically sign the waiver.

Crossroads Canine Conformation and Rally

CCC will be holding a UKC Rally Trial in conjunction with our annual Conformation Show on November 13th and 14th, 2021. Below is a link to the event page on UKCDogs.com. You can also download a Performance entry form from that event page.

Volunteer Opportunity!

Marcia Bashor has offered the club some equipment, x-pens, and other dog related items to keep and/or offer to members to earn a little money for the club. What we need is a couple of people with larger vehicles to go collect the items and deliver them to a temporary storage location. I am thinking we could possibly put them in one of the buildings at the land until we can sort them out. She asked me to come on Saturday but I can’t go that day. Please contact Angela at akp511@aol.com to volunteer.

URGENT – Meeting Reminder!

There will be an emergency meeting Sunday, October 3 at 7:30pm. We NEED members to come to accept the ballot for elections. This will also give you a chance to meet the members of the board! If you don’t come, we don’t have a board. If we don’t have a board, we don’t have a club!

I have received many emails from concerned members who aren’t currently active. If you are currently continuing to stay at home during the pandemic, taking care of a loved one, are ill yourself, or have been exposed the the virus. Please stay at home. Everyone is to wear a mask or gaiter. Do your best to maintain 6 foot distance from anyone you don’t normally train with.

We need members are actively attending classes, meetings, and trials or other non-dog events to come! Your voice really does matter!

To run for a position you must have already been nominated at the last meeting.

URGENT – Emergency Membership Meeting!

Attention all members

We had a membership meeting on Sept. 21 where we needed to set the ballot for the upcoming election.  We did not have enough members present to vote on it. The board just had an emergency meeting tonight to decide what to do.  Unfortunately, we cannot change the bylaws, so there is nothing the board can do at this point.  The membership must vote on the ballots. 

We are going to have an emergency membership meeting on Sunday, October 3 at 7:30 pm. We need you to come and vote.  This is your club.  If no one comes to vote, there will be no board and no club.  This club is based on volunteers who love dogs.  There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to make this club functional and  everyone needs to contribute.  We cannot stress enough how important this meeting is.  Please come to this meeting and vote on the ballots.
