Please note that, depending on the state of the world, we may need you to mask (I’m hoping we don’t have to), and that we aren’t able to provide lunch at this time (huge bummer, so please make sure to bring your lunch; you are for sure welcome to any pop or water in the fridge).

Thank you all so much!!!

Weather permitting (not raining), the plan is to be at the club on Saturday, August 20th from 8:30 to 10:30 (it is supposed to be around 70F) to do the following:

  1. Clean up excess dirt & rocks along the new blacktop by the parking blocks and along the grass on the north edge of the lot.   I will have a wheel barrow.  Will need people with shovels to load it up and move it.
  2. Prune shrubs and small trees along the back of the lot and on the hill behind the building.  Volunteers will need pruners, gloves.
  3. Scrape off dead or almost dead weeds on the old asphalt in the upper parking lot.  Will need to use some square edged flat shovels and some brooms.  Maybe another wheelbarrow to collect it.
  4. Someone with a pickup to haul the branches next week to the Dayton Green Debris drop off at:
2670 Wagner Ford Rd. during the following week 8:00 to 5:00 Mon – Friday

Contact John Clifford if you have any questions or just show up with tools and gloves.  Will need to sign the volunteer signup list.

Freestyle Awards and Raffles – Donations wanted

We are accepting donations for Awards and Raffle for the freestyle trial, July 30th and 31st.

Do you have something awesome to donate? Are you wanting to help but are uncertain what types of things can be used? Please contact me!! I’m happy to help give you ideas, or let you know if that strange doggie coffee mug your mother-in-law gave you can be useful, or if that gift card that someone gave you could be an awesome raffle item!

Thank you,
Megan Reiser
