Attention All CGC Evalutlaors:
I am starting a club list of members who are CGC evalulators. If you are one, please let me know. Shoot me an email at Louie.and.ruth@gmail.com.
Thanks for your service!

Attention all members!
Do you own one of the following breeds?
Have you not tried the sport of Earthdog but are curious if you and your dog would love it?
Have you wanted to try but didn’t know how to get involved?
Are you a seasoned Earth dog aficionado?
Do you need a few volunteer hours?
If you answered “Yes”, to any of the above questions, GCDOC Earthdog Committee wants YOU!
We would love for you to join our Earthdog Committee! We are URGENTLY looking for a few members who are available Oct. 29 and 30 to be present at the GCDOC Earthdog Trials in Dayton, Ohio. If we don’t get a few more members the Trails cannot go on due to AKC requirements. The work will be a blast and not very physically demanding. Plus you will learn a lot about the sport and earn volunteer hours!
Please help Earthdog at GCDOC survive and thrive! If you ever considerd Earthdog before, now is the time to do it. No prior Earthdog experience necessary.
Please email Rachel Corbett at Louie.and.ruth@gmail.com
If you have something that you need posted to the “group” please be certain of two things:
It’s short notice, but we are going to have a weave pole seminar on June 12 from 1 -5.
We could use a few helpers with the FAST CAT tests at K9 Splash Zone on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the weekend 06/24, 06/25, 06/26. Hours are 07-12 and 12- around 4. We need people to help release dogs (not for the faint of heart), check in dogs (for the most part a sit down job) and help in the catch pen. Need to stay focused and be able to communicate with exhibitors. If you are running, we can move your time to a worker slot and if you wish, you can run your dog first thing in the am. Or, if you want to wait you can run in your slot. This is a really fun event. So we hope you can join us.
Please contact Heidi Farmer at kefyra@hotmail.com
The turf room will be closed for practice this weekend. We are having a new door installed in the back and the workers need more time. It will reopen in time for classes on May 16. Please note that this is for the safety of your dogs!
On Friday May13th, the new back door will be installed. This will take most of the day so the back room be closed to training until 5:00 pm.
GCDOC’s Doggie Flea Market will be held this Saturday, May 7 during our Coursing Ability Test being held at our land location, 542 Valleycrest Dr., Dayton, Ohio. Hours will be
during the test, approximately 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Now is the time to do your Spring cleaning and get rid of all that new and used dog related equipment, show clothes and crafts that is just taking up space. We have a limited number
of tables that are $5.00 each, so reserve early. You are more than welcome to bring your own tables, racks and displays.
