There are a lot of volunteer opportunities this fall that still need to be filled – Gem City needs YOU!

A new opportunity opened today – the UKC Conformation and Rally trial on November 8 and 9. This trial is sponsored by Crossroads Canine Club and held at Gem City and their volunteers are our own Gem City members. Conformation is a thing you don’t get to see too much at our club, so this is a really fun event to be a part of.

Rat Rompers, WCFO Freestyle, and WCRL Rally also still have several open spots! Check out the sign up sheet and join us this fall! THANKS IN ADVANCE for helping to make all of our trials a success.

Hello everyone! The conformation run through that was previously scheduled for September 24 has been changed to October 1 at 7:30 PM to avoid a conflict with the membership meeting. We’ll see everyone at the meeting!

Hello, everyone! So sorry for the additional email!

Hello again – sorry for the additional post! In looking at the seminar details, Suzi and I realized that the seminar topic in my original post was a little “off.” The seminar’s focus will still be for canine fitness and will still be useful to both agility and obedience, but will focus more on jump strength and injury prevention. Sorry for the confusion! The form has been edited to reflect that, and the correct one is now attached here.

Hello, members! Please see the attached registration form for an amazing seminar to be held at Gem City on Sunday, November 23 from 9-4. Suzi Schmitz, certified strength and conditioning coach and AKC agility judge, will be working with us and our dogs in a “Canine Athlete Jump Seminar.” This will be useful for OBEDIENCE as well as AGILITY dogs! Registration opens TODAY, and the first 10 registrations received BY MAIL with payment will be the working dogs. We have unlimited availability for auditing spots, as well.

Members have first dibs – registration for non-members will open on September 23. So get yours in fast!
