We are look for a couple of people who are interested in acting as chief ring steward and hospitality chair for our upcoming obedience and rally trial on June 19 and 20. If you are interested in either position, please contact Tami Woodrow. tbrown2126@aol.com

Volunteers are needed for Cross Roads Canine Club (CCC) UKC obedience and
Rally Trials Sunday March 27, 2022 at 4920 Northcutt.
If you have already signed up thank you. We currently have 5 spots open for
Sunday.
Four stewards are needed for Obedience and Five stewards are needed for
Rally. Workers will need to arrive by 8:00 AM.  The trial will last until
about 3:00 PM.

“…so sad…Cindy is in Heaven as of about 4am Tuesday, March 15, 2022.”  Bill Alles

Cindy and Bill have been members for over 20 years.  Cindy was a great cook and she managed the “food court” for most of the dog shows at the Springfield building and land, banquets and special events.  She was also the Puppy Registrar for many years.  Her extended illness and passing is a great loss for our club. Cindy was owned by many King Charles Cavalier Spaniels and one Magical Japanese Chin.

We will be having a membership meeting on February 21. At 7:00, Mary Beam and Carol Lenehan will do a presentation on relaxation protocol (for your dog) and the meeting will be at 7:30. We hope to see you there!

Due to the impending winter storm , we have decided that its in everyones best interest to cancel classes Your instructor will be in touch about a reschedule date

I have been informed of a rumor floating around that the club has been shut down for 2 weeks due to COVID. This is NOT true! Until the board decides that a shut down is necessary, we will be running our regular schedule. If the board declares it necessary, we will make an official statement in an email and Facebook.

The CPE trial is still scheduled at this time and there will be official word from Crossroads if they decide to cancel.

Please check your email or fora Facebook post from a board member (probably me) regularly for any updates.

And as always, if you do contract Covid, please send an email to me or use the area on the website to submit the information. Your identity will remain confidential with the board. We will need to know your class, time, and day. This information is crucial to keep the club healthy.

The City of Dayton has rescinded its mask mandate. In staying with our plan to abide by the local and state guidelines, we will return to optional masking starting immediately.
