Active Membership is broken down into multiple levels based on the amount of annually donated hours. You must work a minimum of 10 hours per year (as of the 2019 Fiscal the minimum will increase to 20 hours) per adult directly for the club to be considered Active. All members in the following levels will receive member prices for classes, voting privileges, a membership directory and a subscription to the Newsletter.
Dues amounts listed are for primary members. Each family member residing at the same address, over the age of 18 is an additional $10; each junior member at least 8 years old and under 18 is $1.
Gem City’s fiscal year is from November 1st to October 31st and all service hours for the current year must be performed before September 30th.. Dues are due and payable as of October 31st of each year. Dues not paid by October 31st are considered lapsed. Dues not paid by January 31st of the following years will resulted in a terminated membership.
Pink Ribbon ($50) (10-20 hours worked annually)
Yellow Ribbon ($40) (21-49 hours worked annually)
Red Ribbon ($30) (50-99 hours worked annually)
Blue Ribbon ($15) (100+ hours worked annually)

Cleaning up after a trial/club function
Anything approved by director only
From time to time, the Gem City Board will offer bonus hours for specific tasks. Double hours can only be authorized by a Board vote except as stated in the voucher policy.
Vouchers
Service vouchers are awarded as follows:
0-49 hours=no vouchers
50-74 hours=2 vouchers
1 voucher for every 25 hours worked after the first 75
Service vouchers can be traded in to the membership chair at 5 service vouchers for 1 Blue Ribbon voucher.
Service vouchers are worth one free class (agility classes are a service voucher +$10) and have no expiration date.
Service vouchers can be used for $20 off a seminar (limit one per day).
Service vouchers cannot be used for discounts at trials.
Instructor vouchers are awarded for instructors and assistants that teach 6 out of 8 classes per session.
Instructor vouchers are worth one free class and have no expiration date.
Instructor vouchers can be used for $20 off a trial or seminar with no restrictions on the number used for trials but only one allowed per day for seminars.
Blue Ribbon vouchers
Registrars earn one per session (as of 2010)
Board members earn one per session but must be present for 2/3 of meetings Cleaning crew and land maintenance earns one voucher for every eight hours worked
