Description
This class focuses on training both handler and dog for competition in AKC Beginner Novice, Pre-Novice, Novice, and UKC Novice levels. We place emphasis on maintaining correct heel position and straight front position, the foundation of competitive obedience. Scoring and rules are discussed throughout the session so you understand exactly what judges are looking for.
Recommended Skill Level: Dogs who have completed Advanced Beginner Obedience and are ready to learn competition-level obedience skills.
Prerequisite: Advanced Beginner Obedience class or approval of the Obedience Director.
