Juno

She was a rescue at 5 months old . Was put in the rescue by her owner , an 18 year old who’s boyfriend gave her the puppy . The girl lived with her parents who convinced her to give the pup up because she was crated all day and night. after we got her we took her to a dog park to work on off lead recall because I didn't want to chase her on our 12+ acres. We were alone at the dog park when across the street a woman came running out of her house chased by a man who was screaming obscenities ! Juno ran over to me and hid under my legs , scared to death ! When we first got her , when Tim would help me up from sitting by taking my arm  , Juno would grab his arm . Didn't bite but held him . After the dog park incident we figure she had been in a domestic violence home and her grabbing got her sent to the shelter . She is incredibly protective of me and she is better at not grabbing Tim lol! However , she is incredibly bossy and will complain if dinner is late or she doesn't get her treats exactly at 8:00 am and pm !  She’s a natural at sheep herding but arthritis has stopped that for now . Juno has titles in BarnHunt ,and TrickDog but we are stuck in Senior because she finds the rats but wont tell me . She runs to whomever is acting as the judge !  She knows who’s important in the ring and it’s not me ! Stay tuned for more Juno stories . Ask about Juno and Steve the sheep !         Chao !
