Jasmine was my first performance dog and the reason I came to Gem City in 2008. Together we earned many titles in Rally, Obedience, Agility, and Tricks. After she was forced to retire from agility in 2017 due to injury, Jasmine became a certified therapy dog and earned her TDN and TD titles with over 60 visits to Greenewood Nursing Home, The Beavercreek Library, and Clark State. Building closed Dec 30-31

Last Friday we were supposed to use a sanitizing fog in the building donated by club VP Steve Hart. Given the weather, that did not happen. So we are going to do it this week. The club building will be closed this Friday, Dec 30th and Saturday, Dec 31st (to fog the building and allow it to completely dissipate). It is a food industry operation and leaves no residue. It does not harm the equipment so nothing needs to be moved or cleaned up.

Happy New Year !

John Clifford

Have you nominated your Scotty Meyer Candidates yet?

The Scotty Meyer Memorial Award is bestowed on the GCDOC member deemed to most exemplify Scotty’s dog sportsmanship and promotion of our dog club. Nominations are made by club members on the form below; the nominees are presented at the club’s Award Banquet and the recipient is announced.

This is a lifetime award, every member who hasn’t already won and is in good standing is eligible.

You can nominate more than one person!

Listed below are some attributes you may wish to consider as you think about your nominee:

Building Closed Dec 23-24th

The club building will be closed  Friday, Dec 23rd to sanitize the building and the 24th for it to completely dissipate.  It is a fogging operation that is approved for use in the food industry, leaves no residue and is being done for us by Steve Hart.  It does not harm the equipment.
